Joining Chi Phi is about much more than just fun and parties. It is about developing leadership skills, building life-long friendships, getting involved on campus and in the community, and being part of a tradition that goes back longer than any other college social Fraternity in the world. But most importantly, it is about Brotherhood. And not the Brotherhood that you wear on the front of a sweater or slap on your car's bumper - Chi Phi is about the Brotherhood that we see and feel in our lives every day. We see it when we help a Brother study, help him get a job, or pick him up in Oklahoma in the middle of the night because his car is dead. Chi Phis look out for each other - no matter what.

Joining Chi Phi begins with meeting the Brothers. At the beginning of each semester we host several recruitment events that are completely free to potential members: grab a friend or two and come hang out. If we feel you could be a good fit for Chi Phi, you may be offered a bid - a formal invitation to join. When you accept your bid, you pledge to join Chi Phi and become a New Member.

Our New Member Education program is the path to becoming an initiated Brother. You will learn about our history, values, and operations while bonding with your pledge-Brothers. Chi Phi never hazes or degrades New Members: our goal is to build brotherhood, not tear people down.
